What to Expect

Location

We are located just around 16 kms from Sakaleshpur town towards Mangaluru and 112 Kms from Mangaluru towards Sakaleshpur, right next to the National Highway. We are accessible by all kinds of vehicles.

We are nestled in a coffee estate adjacent to the forest, so what is expected from a hill station is entirely here, that includes a pleasant weather, variety of birds, bugs, (Please carry along necessary repellants/creams, protective gears as per your preference) butterflies and also occasional visitors such as bison and elephants etc. Be ready to be thrilled, you may spot them if you are lucky.

Terrain & Safety

Highland Estate is designed to blend seamlessly with nature, offering you an authentic, eco-friendly experience. The inclined trails provide an adventurous journey—ensure safety by wearing shoes with good grip. Our pristine, mountain-fed river features large rocks, perfect for swimming and water games. During heavy rains, water levels may rise, and rocks can become slippery, so exercise caution.

Safety Measures

Climate

Highland Estate enjoys a pleasant climate year-round. Summers (20°C to 30°C) are warm yet breezy, while winters (13°C to 25°C) are cool and perfect for enjoyable evenings by the campfire. The monsoon transforms the estate into a lush paradise with cascading waterfalls and misty mornings, offering a magical experience. No matter the season, the serene surroundings ensure a refreshing escape into nature.
